Information for 17-18 EPHS Girls Basketball

Dear parents and players,

We, Head Coach: Michelle Pavlish and Assistant Coach: Jeremy Arnold,  would like to take the opportunity to announce a few things.  First of all, this email is intended for ALL current EPHS Girls Basketball players, ALL girls that are thinking about playing and ALL incoming freshmen girls that want to play or are thinking about playing in the 2017-2018 basketball season.  This email is also intended for ALL parents of these young ladies.

We would like to have a PLAYER only meeting on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 @ 11:30 p.m. (during lunch) in the high school gym for all high school students.

There will also be a meeting for the 8th grade girls on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 @ 12:30 p.m. (during lunch) in the middle school gym.

The purpose of these meetings are for ALL of the above mentioned young ladies to come in and meet the coaches and learn about the long-term goals of the EPHS Girls Basketball Program.

We would also like to discuss the exciting summer basketball program the coaches have put together.  This program includes a team camp and tournaments.  Details and dates to be announced at the meetings.

There will also be a follow up PARENT/PLAYER meeting on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 @ 5:30 p.m. in high school commons to discuss the program further, answer any outstanding questions and to sign players up for the summer basketball program.

Believe it or not, ALL successful and competitive high school basketball programs are beginning their 2017-2018 seasons now.  As coaches, we are committed to helping these young ladies learn valuable skills and traits, through basketball, that will benefit them for the rest of their lives.  We want to achieve this in a fun and competitive environment.  We also know, in order to stay competitive with not just the other teams in our conference, but the entire state, we have to work just as hard, if not harder than our competition.  One thing is guaranteed, our competitors all have summer basketball programs.

As coaches, we are working very hard and we feel we have come up with a strong summer basketball program that will be fun for the players, help each player grow individually and as a teammate.

If you have any questions and/or concerns prior to the meetings, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the coaches.

Thank you,

Michelle Pavlish, Head Coach –

Jeremy Arnold, Assistant Coach –
